The Third Street Cafe is off the main thoroughfare in downtown Boca Grande, but should not be missed when considering dining options on island.  Known for their Mediterranean bistro cuisine, the cafe serves breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner.  Be sure to check dining options and hours depending on the season.

One dish that should not be missed on the dinner menu is fresh local grouper Grenobloise, with brown butter, capers and lemon along with the homemade pastas.  Of course you can order your fresh catch “simply grilled” for those who prefer a healthy choice with their selection of sides.  The Third Street Cafe boasts a full bar and speciality cocktail menu.

The lunch menu offers traditional sandwiches, burgers and salads.  To experience Boca Grande’s best bloody Marys and mimosas, brunch is offered on the weekends.  Go with the chef’s omelet, traditional eggs Benedict or shrimp and a grits.  If you were fortunate enough to catch lunch or dinner on your own, whether on your own or possibly with a local fishing guide, bring in your fresh catch!  The menu offers to, “prepare your fresh catch for $20 per person”.

Secret Garden Dining Under the Stars

When the weather is nice, be sure to ask for a seat in the secret garden under the stars where live entertainment is offered several nights a week in season.  The interior offers a “Bahamian” feel decorated with a casually elegant tropical style with a laid back atmosphere with an “island” bar set up for great conversations and interaction.
